Islam has a view about Jesus that lies between two extremes. One are the Jews who reject the Jesus as a Prophet of Allah and call him as imposter. On the other hand, Christians consider him as the son of Allah and worship him. This confronts with the Islamic view of oneness of Allah, the oneness of Divine guidance, and the role of subsequent mission of the messenger of Allah.
With the willing submission of Allah, the essence of Islam was revealed to Adam, who passed it to his children. The revelations of Ibrahim, Noah, Jesus, Moses, and Muhammad (P.B.U.H) also confronted with that message and along with the revelation between Allah and man. Any contradictions that were revealed among various religions are viewed by Islam as a man made element that is introduced into these religions. The position of Jesus in the three major religions like Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam must not be accepted. Online Quran Reading will tell you about the views of Islam and Quran about Jesus.
Holy Quran does not present the story of Jesus; rather it highlights some of the important aspects of his mission, birth, and his ascension to heaven and also passes the judgment on the belief of the Christians. In the Holy Quran, Allah assures and tells about the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) and about the Jesus. However, Christianity does not totally agree with that.
Holy Quran, however, does not explain who was crucified instead of the Jesus, nor do they elaborate on the second coming of Jesus. Explanators of the Holy Quran interpreted the last verse of a quotation that states that Jesus will believe in him before he dies.
